Rhoads’ PCRM (Professional Compliance Requirements Management) system is a critically important element of a true end-to-end insurance regulatory compliance engine that manages the lifecycle of an insurance professional’s activities from appointment through termination. PCRM stores all producer compliance data for an insurance organization, easily managing the entire professional certification process leading to greater efficiencies and productivity while providing for a lower Total Cost of Compliance®. PCRM enables organizations to automate best practices around licensing management, agency management, and adjuster management functions by leveraging the built-in workflow and activities functions. Internet browsers support includes Explorer 8 and above, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari 5.0.
PCRM is a cloud-based SaaS service using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol that offers the same level of security as the on-line banking industry. Rhoads servers are deployed in a SSAE-16 compliant hosting data center with state-of-the-art security, N+1 redundancy in electrical and environmental systems, and a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) ensuring our customers’ data security.
Scalability and Big Data
Rhoads is focused on the automation of insurance compliance processes. PCRM offers the scalability necessary to support the rapidly growing insurance market needs and services. Insurance compliance can quickly become a significant big data challenge given there are about 3,000 carriers in the U.S. and the annual volume of just appointments being made today, exceeds 40 million.
PCRM provides APIs to import or export data in various file formats including flat file, XML and web service. APIs are adjusted for client-specific requirements and made available as needed according to the interface requirements. Some examples of APIs would include: sending agent information for uploading from an HR system or receiving JIT request for appointments, etc..
PCRM tracks usage and performance on a daily basis. Rhoads reviews the usage and performance records on a daily basis including product response time for a number of transaction types such as report generation, profile updates, and transaction submission. These reports are circulated internally on a monthly basis for review.
All reports have a clean, simple user interface and can be viewed onscreen. Reports can be generated using multiple filter/search criteria that can be used to focus on the desired results. These reports can be exported to MS-Excel or .pdf formats. Additionally PCRM support offers ad hoc reporting services at no charge. Ad-hoc requests are typically filled within 4-8 business hours. Additionally, support for specific reports can be set up to be emailed securely to specific users on a pre-determined schedule.
